A Life Coach is a person who has the skills to help you move forward in life by achieving more of what you desire. Improving your quality of life through caring, listening, questioning, challenging, holding you accountable, setting and achieving goals, and much more.
The results are a maximized personal, ministerial, professional, and business (where applicable) life.
A little history: Thomas Leonard founded life coaching in the 1980s. He realized people lacked happiness, so he founded the Coaching process.
FYI, hiring a Life Coach gives you a substantial competitive advantage over your peers. The truth is, we don't know what knowledge, skillsets, mindsets, etc., we don't know to help us move forward.
They provide emotional support and practical strategies, such as setting goals and offering accountability (to name a few objectives). The coach helps focus on God's love and guidance, overcoming struggles and moving towards a healthier, more stable life.
This type of Life Coach doesn't fear the power of agape love because sometimes all people need, is an authentic hug and an active ear to listen to.
Do you struggle with gossip, slander, faith, doubt, questioning God, pornography, childhood hurts, mental illness, unanswered prayers, temptation, false sexual identity (e.g., the alphabet community), sinful desires, depression (looking back), anxiety (worried about the future), feeling persecuted, hostility, feeling discriminated, unable to bear faithful witnessing, dead spiritual life, disagreeing with your church, unable to serve in the church (discipleship), unable to discern what is of the world and what is of the spirit, unable to read your Bible, comparison, your social media time is more critical than your intimacy with God, dating (it is unbiblical to date)?
This is a Coach who has gone through extensive training to provide you with authentic Life Coaching. A Certified, Accredited, or Credentialed Life Coach is set apart because they have submitted to leadership, been challenged, been stretched, and are naked before the Lord.
You can hire and fire anyone you want.
The difference between a Certified, Accredited, or Credentialed Coach is that they have submitted to leadership. They are not rouge coaches. Again, they have submitted to leadership. The Bible tells us to be wise and use discernment when sitting under leadership.
Absolutely, the Bible teaches us to make disciples. Coaching is a lifestyle of making disciples.
Ministry services are Pro-bono services based on persons' needs. If there is a financial transaction, it is not a ministry service.
First of all, you need to identify your services. Are you ministering or providing business skills? Business is helping someone make a profit. Ministering is attending "to the needs of someone." Even though there are buss words such as "businesstry" or the like, you are in business, not ministry, if you receive payment for services.
Second, the Bible teaches us to be stewards of Abba's gifts in us. Are you obedient if He has placed the business gift in your hands and you don't steward it properly?
Third, if you don't launch your business, are you truly serving the people Abba has for you to serve, or are you serving the enemy of our souls who is keeping you bound in fear and the "what ifs"?
There are many coaches, and the coaching industry skyrocketed post-COVID because people have identified that they can make a living by helping others.
As a result, more and more people are jumping out of a "j. o. b." (just over broke) model and embracing entrepreneurship in the form of coaching.
The price difference between services in the industry is called "ticket" offers.
For example, a "low ticket" is considered a crazy and silly offer. It is priced low, which is favorable to most clients and considered low-risk to them. It is also considered an "introduction" fee.
A "medium ticket" is a lift-up ticket when the client is ready to upgrade and get more accountability or support.
A "high ticket" is when the client already knows the support, care, and training level they need. This "high ticket" is more expensive but offers more from the coach-coachee relationship.
Yes, I do have what's called a "low ticket" offer. It is only available for qualified candidates. The qualification is to be on some governmental assistance. You must provide proof and a monthly budget. If your finances are a mess, are you being obedient to the Lord or obedient to the enemy of our souls who wants you sick, broke, and bound?
My medium ticket offers are my one-on-one coaching.
